I wanted to write to thank Lyle and Skaha Rock Adventures for a great day out at Skaha Bluffs on the 14th. Sorry to hear that you were unwell - I hope you are feeling better now.
The day exceeded expectations and the instruction given was thorough, methodical and very patiently dealt out. Both of us had a wonderful time. I'm happy and comfortable with anchor placement and threading anchors etc. I'm very happy that at last I've been taught properly wrt how to place quickdraws (eg which direction the spine of the "crab" should face and how to hold the rope to clip into the quick draw. It's all clear now. I'm especially happy that I had the chance to lead the last climb of the day. :)
Hope to come back and climb again at Skaha next year.”

”Russ - just a quick note to say what an awesome course on the weekend. I had a great time as Sheila is an exceptional instructor. There were times when I was so scared to step off the wall but Sheila handled everything so well, slightly pushing me to do it but also giving me enough time to make my own mind to step off the wall when I was rappelling. As well, I fell pretty confident in what I learned about anchors and how to check through every time I was setting an anchor or getting ready to climb or rappelling on the weekend!! It was great to have Sheila as an instructor. It was awesome!!”
