Extreme adventure awaits your group with our popular free-hanging rappels, cave rappels, tyrolean traverses, zip lines, king swing and high-line lowers through a maze of spectacular canyon features in the Skaha Bluffs of Penticton.
With two separate high-angle Ropes Course sites to choose from, we can tailor an exciting event
to suit your groups′ interests. These sites also provide an ideal venue for corporate seminars too. Participants benefit by mentally challenging themselves to perform each unique task. Self-confidence, courage, trust, self-esteem and team building are just some of the attributes learned while having fun at the same time! We provide most everything, so students need only arrive with a packsack, lunch, water, appropriate shoes and clothing.
You can put your mind at ease, knowing your group is in the capable hands of our experienced, professional Association of Canadian Mountain Guides staff. Safety is our priority while providing students with an enjoyable, educational experience.
We specialize in single or multi-day experiential and technical training programs, having provided 20,000+ student days of programming since 1994. Design a custom course for your group by inquiring for more details.
*Ropes Course Activity Options:
Depending on which of the two locations you choose, you will have the option to try the following activities;
Tyrolean Traverses
Suspended high over a chasm, your goal is to traverse to the far side of the canyon and back while hanging from your harness and pulley system!
Cave Rappel
Rappel through a slot in a ceiling to enter the black abyss of a large cave system, suspended in mid-air by a free hanging 100′ rappel!
Zip Lines
Leap from a cliff face to glide across a canyon abyss on a fast, free-running pulley system to the far side!
Free-Hanging Rappels
Dare to back off cliff faces up to 200′ in height as you rappel, free hanging down a sheer cliff wall, suspended in space!
High-Lines
Much like a zip-line except the descending angle of your high-line is 45 degrees to the ground. Your guide controls the ″brakes″ and will offer you the ″ride″ of your choice!
King Swing
Take a ride on this incredible swing into space!
Rappels
We offer less ″extreme″ rappels for your group using cliffs that are shorter and more moderate in angle.
Rock Climbing
Optional: We can include Rock Climbing as an additional activity in conjunction with our Ropes Course sites, provided clients have already had one prior day of rock climb training with us beforehand. A very popular two-day program combines a first day of rock climbing and rappelling, followed by a second day of combined ropes course and rock climbing activities.
