Alpine Rock allows you to climb technical rock summits with a professional guide in an unbelievable alpine setting.
Discover the exhilaration of climbing and traversing awesome granite spires in the warm, dry Cascade Mountains of British Columbia’s Cathedral Provincial Park. This program can be customized to fit your needs, whether you prefer an experiential guided trip or a technical training course.
You begin by hiking into Cathedral Provincial Park to reach your alpine meadows base camp. Your camp, located at 6‚700′, is surrounded by walls of 8‚500′+ tall granite spires and ridges, many of which you will climb over the duration of your stay. Your base camp is strategically located, providing short access to the start of your climbs with quick, easy return descents back to camp each day.
If your capable group is able to hire two Guides, then we can offer you the amazing McCabre – Grimface Traverse. This ultra-classic route includes two stunning tyrolean traverses between granite spires, suspending you 2‚000′ above the valley floor!
Sunshine, granite, technical summits and traverses, unspoiled scenery, no crowds, spectacular! Allow us to guide you or your group for an ultimate peak experience!
